About the Sound Journey

Join Holloway for his uniquely nurturing Sound Journey offering.

Set yourself up laying down on your yoga mat with pillows, a blanket and eye pillow (if you so choose!) and float amongst Holloway’s fluidly looped and woven guitar melodies met with his soothing voice notes which creates an atmospheric ambient sound bath of sonic acupuncture to invoke a deeper state of connection. This intuitively heartfelt offering is enhanced by Holloway’s innate ability to spontaneously thread a powerful musical connection with the essence and spirit of the moment.

Holloway sensitively and skillfully creates an environment of sound that not only compliments the practice of yoga and meditation but has been known to create an atmosphere that guides to a deep experience of transcendence, spiritual contact, bliss, and release.

What to expect

The concert will be offered in an intimate setting at De Roos. During the concert you’ll be invited into an immersive listening experience where sound unfolds slowly and intuitively. You’re welcome to lie down, sit, or move gently, following what feels right for you in the moment as the music carries the evening.

Optional Intensive: Bodyfullness

July 2026 with Lara Zilibowitz & HOLLOWAY

We highly recommend combining HOLLOWAY’s concert with Lara Zilibowitz’s two-day intensive Bodyfullness. This immersive weekend explores embodiment as living art through somatic meditation, Tantric yin yoga, movement, and creative and authentic expression, with live ritual music by HOLLOWAY. The intensive offers space to slow down, listen deeply, and inhabit the body as a place of wisdom, healing, and presence.

The intensive can be booked separately, or added to your concert booking at a reduced rate if you’d like to continue the journey over the full weekend.

The Artist

HOLLOWAY

Holloway’s music is completely intuitively created, deeply inspired by cross-cultured ethnomusicology, having lived in and around India for many years, the prayer calls from mosques that flood the city, the music within ashrams, the street performances soaked into my subconscious and only when it comes time to creating and playing music do flavours of those influences play themselves out through my melodic interpretation.

Holloway’s music has been referred to as “medicinal”. It is often shared that his music was used throughout the sacred process of giving birth, making love or transcending through yoga or meditation.

Holloway’s music invites you into a space of connection that feels like coming home. His sound has long been intertwined with yoga and other sacred spaces, offering support for self-connection and reflection through live music. We’re excited to host Holloway at Global Flow for an intimate concert and to share an evening with you where sound can support your experience in a way that feels connected and present.

Location

We gather at De Roos, a unique and historic venue located in the heart of Amsterdam, at the entrance of the Vondelpark. Originally opened in 1900 as the headquarters of the Theosophical Society, De Roos has a long history rooted in personal development and the exploration of wisdom traditions.

Today, De Roos functions as a contemporary yoga and event space with a calm, grounded atmosphere.

During the lunch break, you can stay at De Roos and enjoy their café, which serves organic salad bowls, sandwiches, juices, ceremonial cacao, and other nourishing options. We offer a long lunch break so you also enjoy the park on beautiful days.
