About Global Flow
Global Flow is an international platform offering immersive yoga intensives for those who wish to deepen their practice through focused training with internationally respected teachers.
What began as retreat based experiences has naturally evolved into immersive yoga intensives with a strong focus on quality and embodied understanding. Today Global Flow brings internationally respected teachers to Amsterdam, connecting them with a global community of yogis to share their work in carefully selected venues that support immersive learning.
All intensives take place in unique locations in Amsterdam, including beautiful historic churches and De Roos. These environments invite you to step out of daily routines and fully immerse yourself in the practice while enjoying the city.
Global Flow events are open to everyone, yet primarily resonate with practitioners and teachers who seek more than regular yoga classes. Whether you wish to deepen your understanding or study in person with a teacher whose work inspires you, these intensives offer the opportunity to continue evolving while becoming part of a like minded community.
About the founder
Global Flow was founded by Suze Retera from a personal desire to continue growing as a yoga practitioner and teacher. Rather than repeatedly entering full teacher training programs, she sought ways to keep refining her understanding through concentrated study with a wide range of experienced teachers. Global Flow emerged as a way to make this ongoing learning accessible, while also creating community by bringing like-minded people together in meaningful settings.
Over the years, Suze’s own work has continued to evolve and expand into a broader field that includes therapeutic work and individual guidance. This wider perspective informs how Global Flow is shaped and how collaborations are formed.
Today Global Flow brings internationally respected teachers to Amsterdam and creates immersive intensives that support both study and community. Suze’s role within Global Flow is that of curator and facilitator, creating the conditions in which teachers and practitioners can immerse themselves in the experience of practice while feeling connected to a wider community.
