About the intensive

Our body comprises all life elements - the earth's food, the sacred water in our fluid body, the metabolic and electrical fire within our cellular network, the life-giving air that nourishes every cell, and the space pervading our body.

The awakening of the elemental body serves as the primary energetic map in Prana Flow, laying the foundation for sequencing movement alchemy, embodying nature, and fostering an integrated flow between our practice and life.

Firekeeping 101 - Know They Self -  Soulful Wellness

Our approach to daily balance is Caring for the Elemental Body through Ayurvedic Dinacharya and Lifestyle  (Daily and Seasonal) Rhythms for Living Flow.

Living Ayurveda

Through our integration of prana flow Living Ayurveda course we will focus on understanding how the elements, gunas and doshas within Ayurveda support our physical and mental well-being.  Learn and discover the many layers of your being through the lenses of Ayurveda.  Apply this ayurvedic knowledge to invite new daily ritual practices to maintain a balance, vital life.

This system, integral to our teacher training, introduces Five Elemental Prana Flow Namaskars and Ten Sequences as ways of balancing our fire,, enabling creative and effective sequencing of yoga flow.

Experience the Roots and Evolution of vinyasa through Shiva's guidance in the Elemental Vinyasa pathway of the Prana Flow system, encompassing the Elemental Namaskars and Solar-Lunar Waves Sequences within the pathways of Prana Mandala Vinyasa.

What is Prana Vinyasa®

PRANA VINYASA® is a full spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea.

Students are empowered to experience prana, the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence, as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living.

Each practice follows one of the five elements offering a creative diversity to the flow of your day. Each series is an immersion into each element through movement meditation from opening mudra vinyasa, prana flow namaskars from classical roots through the elements, creative, intelligent sequencing of asanas, breath flow, meditative awareness, body mudra and ecstatic release into full relaxation.

What to expect

The Teacher

Shiva Rea

Shiva Rea is a globally renowned yoga teacher and the founder of Prana Vinyasa and the Samudra Global School for Living Yoga. Her work is rooted in a deep relationship with breath, rhythm, and the innate intelligence of the body, shaped through decades of practice, study, and teaching across cultures and landscapes worldwide.

Her teaching draws from the roots of vinyasa yoga and is informed by long-term study in tantra, Ayurveda, the Krishnamacharya lineage, kalaripayattu, world dance, and somatic movement. Through this lived integration, Shiva offers yoga as a way of life that connects movement, ritual, and awareness, inviting practitioners to experience flow as something that extends into everyday living.

Global Flow x Shiva

Shiva Rea was one of my first teachers. I began practicing with her sixteen years ago, and her work has had a lasting influence on my own path as a practitioner and teacher. Through her teaching, yoga revealed itself as a creative and embodied practice that continues far beyond the mat.

What resonates deeply at Global Flow is the way Shiva weaves embodiment and ritual into her work, inviting practices that are felt and lived. We’re excited to share this aspect of her teaching with our community and to create space for this way of practicing together.
